You Are Invited.
Registration is open for Reiki HOuseholders.
Come as you are. Ten live weekly sessions. Three (or all!) recordings a week.
We center ourselves, decide how we want to see the world, and set intentions for how we interact with everything around us.
We are Reiki.
Reiki is not something we learn. It is something we realize that we are and have. And the way we learn to believe that is through practice. Reiki is the pathway through which we connect our inner and collective energy. We learn to recognize and connect with our Great Bright Light to find ease, flow and connection, both within the scattered parts of ourselves and with all beings around us (yup, even those we find difficult).
Everyone can utilize Reiki. It requires no belief system and does not conflict with any existing beliefs. I have found it particularly helpful as I navigate my spiritual path through both my roots and the curious directions I am heading.
Reiki is both a way of being and a tool that helps bring us into harmony with ourselves, our place in the world, and our potential impact on all that surrounds us.
We are Householders.
Monks commit their lives to practice. Householders commit their practices to their lives. I believe that the calling most of us can respond to is one of integration, not deprivation.
We have homes, jobs, families, homes, responsibilities. Our work in this container is to seek a spiritual practice while not having the option to remove ourselves from our lives. We seek a spiritual practice while still holding house.
Through the Reiki practices of meditation, breathing, and visualization, we will integrate the Reiki principles into our daily lives. I believe that by creating internal changes, we can have a positive impact on each other, which can lead to changes in the world as a whole.
This is a wild time to be alive. And through staying connected to our bodies, our gratitude, and our inner knowing, we will be better resourced to show up in whatever ways we can.
Everything is Practice.
My intention for my own practice is constant and casual attention to the world around me and the potential I have to impact the world for good. Together, we learn to bring mindfulness into our daily lives through the intentions of no anger, no worry, gratitude, truth, and kindness. Through our practices, I believe we can find ritual in the routine.
Together, we will practice self-treatments, chanting, meditation, and visualization practices. We will explore ways to establish our bodies and homes as places of constant and casual practice. Through both traditional Reiki techniques and awareness in our daily routines, we will build a relationship with our own energy and feel a consistency of self across all parts of our day.
We will build stockpile of familiar practices to help us return to emotional ease in times of stress, chaos, anxiety, and overwhelm.
Community Matters.
I believe that we deepen our practice in community.
By spending time together in practice, we begin to see our interconnectedness to others. We feel more safe to explore our own minds and energy. We gain wisdom from the reflections of others. We have increased accountability to show up for practice if we have made a commitment.
As we become more comfortable with our interconnectedness with each other, we are reminded that we are not alone. There are other seekers out there. We are not weird or fringe or cringe. We are curious and committed. And we can find grounding, ease, and understanding while holding house.
We have a capacity for healing.
I believe in the power of medicine, therapy, and movement. But I also think our ability to heal does not end there.

The Reiki Householders Framework.
We have a light inside of us that connects us to all beings.
We find balance by embracing the Precepts - no anger, no fear, gratitude, truth, and kindness.
We practice for the safety, health, and ease of all beings.
No beliefs are required. And no beliefs are incongruent. There is no one way.
Kindness is our foundation.
Our practice is a way of walking our path with healing, focus and intention, not taking a different path.
We are not asked to be anything other than we already are.
Come as you are. Iāll be in my pajamas sometimes..
What People Are Saying about Reiki Householders
āAfter spending time with Krissie, I always feel refreshed, peaceful, and at ease. Her soothing presence can take me from feeling anxious and overwhelmed to slow and calm.ā
ā Teale R. 8/25/25pm
āKrissie's energy is a balm for this time, where I feel wrung out and uncertain. Being reminded of my "place in the family of things" [hat tip to Mary Oliver] through even just this singular session was so needed.ā
ā Stephanie D. 8/25/25pm
āThere's such power in practicing together, especially with Krissie's gentle and grounded guidance.ā
ā Amy N. 8/26/25am

I feel confident that our practices together as Reiki Householders will grow and shift as we spend time together. I have dreams of reading books together, holding Reiki shares, and eventual retreats.
-
Up to eleven live practices per week, occurring at 7:30 eastern.
-
We will have access to collective support and encouragement through a Discord group. All tiers of members will have the same access to Discord.
Important considerations.
Reiki is a complementary modality and should not be a replacement for conventional physical or mental health treatment.
Consult with your physician or a qualified healthcare professional before incorporating Reiki into your wellness routine, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions.
I am a therapist, but I am not acting as a therapist or medical professional in this container. I will offer referrals as necessary.
You are always in the drivers seat. I may suggest paths to follow during our sessions, but you can always opt out or do your own practice at any time.
Consistency is key. The more you show up for your practice, the more your practice will show up for you.
FAQs

No, but I will be teach Reiki 1 as necessary so you will have that option on a regular basis.
If you are attuned to Reiki 2, there will be invitations to share Reiki with the group on some of our calls.

YES! This space is like an online Reiki studio. Like a yoga studio for Reiki. We gather to practice. You learn what you need to know as you go. We will have opportunities for deeper study (liek workshops in a yoga studio), but this space is primarily for practice.
-
A calendar will be posted at the beginning of each month outlining each practice and which tier has access.
Doors will open 5 minutes before our session to catch up. The practice will begin promptly at 7:30 and doors will be closed at that time (so that I can be fully present to our practice). Each session will last 20-25 minutes.
Practices will consist of traditional Reiki meditations, chanting practices, silent meditations, and guided group Reiki meditations (like my previous Moon Circles).

Recordings will be posted as soon as possible after each session. In most cases, it will be available within the hour, but I will probably be out in the world some times and may have not access to necessary technology. I am confident that I can post within 24 hours.

I get it. It can be hard to make time for recordings. I too have joined various online programs and have not followed through. The potential for self-disappointment is high, and who wants to take on that possibility?
So I put on my problem-solving hat (wait⦠do I need to actually knit myself one of those?!?) and thought about how I would coach someone through this concern. Hereās what I came up with.
1) Check your expectations. This offering is like a yoga studio. There is no expectation to attend every offered session. If attending live is important to you, create three lists ā baseline practice, hopeful practice, and ideal-for-you practice. Start at the beginning. Spend a month or so working up to your hopeful attendance, knowing that some weeks will be more difficult and some weeks will be easier. Experiment with morning and evening sessions. Find what works for you. See how it all shakes out once you start to build habits. These sessions are meant to support you, not stress you out.
2) Practice Habit Stacking. Is your worry not following through with watching the recordings? Practice immediately after (or maybe before) something you already do on a regular basis. Take 20 minutes right out of the shower. Sit outside 20 minutes after you load the dishwasher. Practice in your car on your lunch break. Get in the habit of practicing after ā or during - something you are already doing anyway.
3) Remember - not all practices will require a seated meditation posture. You can practice some of the sessions while you are folding laundry, knitting, washing dishes, taking a walk. One of the most powerful chanting practices I have had was when the syllables were in sync with my knitting. If this is something that would be helpful, we can absolutely build more of this type of practices into our structure. We are householders, after all!
4) Notice times you are distracted or acting in a mindless way. Plug your recorded practice in there. Do you spend the first 20 minutes after work on your phone? That may be a good spot for practice. Do you watch a youtube video to decompress before you go to bed (maybe thatās just me)? Practice with a video instead. Pay attention to times where you spend 20 minutes in a way that doesnāt feel aligned (on your phone, that second episode of Greyās Anatomy, getting triggered on social media) and plug your practice in there. Confession: I gave up my daily NYT games for my morning practice. And I donāt really miss them. My practice fills me in a way that the Wordle didnāt. I still play Clues By Sam, though. That is my JAM.)
5) Create accountability. In a perfect world, you will find an accountability partner inside the community to check in with, maybe even to practice virtually together outside of the session times. But I want to remind you that accountability doesnāt have to be for the same activity. So often, I tell my husband that I will do x when he does y. Iāll fold the laundry when he washes the dishes. Iāll take a shower when he goes to the store. Iāll write my notes when he is on a run. Pairing your intention with someone elseās action ā even if it isnāt with them ā gives them permission to ask you about it, to remind you about it, to trigger your āoh yeah! I wanted to do that!ā thought.

Goodness, no. Set an intention for the week. And do your best to meet it. Attendance isnāt taken :)

As your practice is my practice, I hope this does not happen often. Only in times when Iām up a holler somewhere without cell service.
When that time comes, wee will explore options. I can create a āgreatest hitsā practice schedule of recordings. I can create a little zine for you to hold your own practices with. We can do pre-recorded individual Narrative Alchemy recorded meditations beforehand. We have options. You will not feel slighted, I promise.

Registration will be open from the 25th to the 1st of each month.
Iām Krissie.
I am a Reiki Master and I teach and practice Reiki for both for myself and for others.
I am a Jin Shin Juytsu Practitioner, teaching and offering structured energetic hand-placements for management of physical and emotional projects.
I bring the experience of twenty years of various healing modalities to our sacred space.
I believe that our bodies not only keep the stories and emotions from our past, but also hold the answers to moving forward.
I believe that it is possible - and important - to process our inner gunk both through traditional talk therapy AND through physical and energetic methods.
I believe our bodies can process emotional stressors passively and with ease.
I believe that we can access our own inner healing process through the breath, stillness, and movement.
And I believe that healing is possible for you.
I believe that it is possible - and important - to process our inner gunk both through traditional talk therapy AND through physical and energetic methods. Other than how it impacts my personality, I leave my therapist hat out of Reiki work.
